Emporia Christian School’s Parent Teacher Organization has its annual pancake feed fundraiser this weekend.
Teacher Marcy Shirk and students had details for Saturday’s pancake feed on KVOE’s Morning Show on Monday. Student Harry Hart says the event is a fundraiser, but it’s also a good time.
Seris Martin has already put a lot on her plate, pun fully intended, for the meal.
Tickets are available at the door — $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under age 3. The meal is from 7 am to noon Saturday, featuring all-you-can-eat or infinity pancakes, two sausage links and a drink, as well as access to booth vendors. Proceeds from the pancake feed and an online auction starting Saturday and continuing all next week benefit improvements at the school.
