For those wishing to have a chance to rush through Good’s Cash Saver later this month, the chance to buy your way in is quickly coming to an end.
Tickets for the 2025 Grocery Grab are still available through any Rotary Club members now through 5 pm November 15th, according to Rotary Club President Karly Witte during a recent appearance on KVOE’s Talk of Emporia. For those unfamiliar with the annual fundraiser, Witte ran through the process of the event that has previously been called the most entertaining five minutes of fundraising in Emporia.
Tickets for the grocery grab cost $10, with the finalists for the event being drawn on November 16. For the third consecutive year, proceeds from the grab will go to benefit Bloom House Youth Services.
Bloom House Services Director Abby Stephens says the funds and notoriety the event has helped to raise for the organization the past three years have been tremendous.
In addition to Bloom House, the event has also benefited several area non-profits through participation in the event, including Emporia’s Salvation Army, which managed to bag nearly $1,200 in food last year thanks to a well-planned run by Salvation Army Captain Mylie Hadden. For more information on the grocery grab or to purchase tickets, reach out to any Rotary Club member.
