The Lee Beran Recreation Center’s indoor pool closes Wednesday for about a week due to repairs, and the Emporia Recreation Commission is adjusting some of its adjustments for classes.
The Rec Commission says it is offering “land fitness” options for its classes normally held at the natatorium:
*The Arthritis Aquatic Class will meet in the Fitness Studio at 8:00 a.m. (M,W,F) with instructor Jessica George
*Aqua Fit participants are invited to attend Fit Forever at 9:00 a.m. (M,W,TH) with instructor Lauren Carlson
*Evening Aqua Fit will meet in the Community Room at 5:30 p.m. (M, W, TH) with instructor Lori Davis. This was originally listed as meeting in the Fitness Studio
*Silver Dolphins will meet in the Gym at 10:00 a.m. (M-F) with instructors Tasha Cooper and Lesley Goodrich
*Aqua Zumba will meet in the Fitness Studio at 5:30 p.m. (T/F) with instructor Kim Cook
*Lap Swimmers and Independent Water Exercisers will have access to the Fitness Room during the closure
Memberships, drop-in fees and class passes will remain as normal for replacement classes.
The closure is for work on the pool’s drain pipe.
