Mid-November isn’t typically known for mid-spring temperatures, but that’s what we have to close out the week.
Emporia can expect a daytime high of 76 degrees Friday. If reached, this will break the current record of 75 most recently recorded in 2020 but also noted in 1971 and 1956.
Another 76-degree day is currently expected for Saturday. This would be just shy of the current record of 77 degrees set in 1950.
Average daytime highs are in the upper 50s.
Highs will be in the mid-60s for Sunday and Monday, along with a slight chance of showers Monday afternoon. Mid-50s are expected beginning Tuesday.
