Emporia State senior guard Kaitlyn Sanders has been named the MIAA Player of the Week after leading the Lady Hornets to two wins last week. Sanders averaged 23 ppg last week and shot over 60% from the field in wins over Southwest Baptist and Missouri S&T last week. Sanders also grabbed eight rebounds with five steals in the two E-State wins. Emporia State is 2-2 on the year and returns to action Tuesday hosting Quincy at White Auditorium. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame coverage at 6:30 p.m. on Mix 104.9.
