The high school basketball season gets underway this week. Plenty of area teams have been ranked in the Preseason top 10 by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.

Burlingame 9th in 1A Division 1
Lebo 7th in 1A Division 2
Girls:
Osage City 3rd in 3A
Chase County 9th in 2A
Marais des Cynges Valley 4th in 1A Division 2
Lebo 5th in 1A Division 2
