Red Rocks State Historic Site is inviting the public to its annual holiday celebration this weekend.
A White Christmas at Red Rocks will begin at 2 pm at 927 Exchange Street with several live music performances on the schedule. During an interview on KVOE’s Morning Show on Monday, Marcia Lawrence of Red Rocks ran through the lineup.
Lawrence says the White Christmas is the William Allen White Community Partnership’s annual Christmas gift to the community and this year it will be a bit more special than in years past for a few reasons. First, it will culminate the 20th anniversary celebration of the site’s original opening to the public and this year’s event will also pay tribute to a very special individual.
A White Christmas at Red Rocks will run until 4 pm Sunday and will also include cookies, cider and hot chocolate. For more information, be sure to find Red Rocks State Historic Site on Facebook.
