Newman Regional Health has announced re-accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
The hospital says it met the ACHC’s highest standards in several categories, including clinical operations, compliance, patient safety and organizational leadership, adding accreditation reflects adherence to national standards.
The ACHC evaluates healthcare organizations for quality, performance and safety. Re-accreditation is a three-year cycle. Newman Regional Health says this lets the hospital continue its work in quality and safety initiatives while offering full, patient-driven care for residents in Lyon and surrounding counties.
