The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas Board of Directors will convene for its final regularly scheduled meeting of the year Friday.
The meeting will include the regular Chairman’s comments, President’s reports and one executive session. The meeting will take place inside the Trusler Business Center beginning at 7 am.
There are no items currently listed on the agenda related to the ongoing search for a new permanent RDA President; however, RDA board leadership had stated desires to have a candidate hired and in place by the end of the year. According to the latest update from Board Chair Jeff Williams, there has been a lot of interest expressed for the role, and several candidates have been interviewed or considered; however, the committee has yet to find the “Right candidate” for the role.
The search has been ongoing for nearly two years now, following the resignation of former president Chuck Scott in January of 2024.
