The Claus family had a special stop in Emporia on Saturday.
Santa and Mrs Claus made their annual appearance at the Emporia Public Library’s Breakfast With Santa event. Library Director Pauline Stacchini was touched to see the turnout because it means the library tradition is shared by families around the area.
Stacchini also thanked the volunteers, staff and the library’s partners, including the David Traylor Zoo, Hispanics of Today and Tomorrow, Emporia High students, and Jones Aquatic Center for the event being successful.
Over 300 people went to the library for quick visits with Santa and Mrs Claus, as well as a light breakfast, music, and some family time with a good book.
