Court proceedings have started in Emporia for a drug distribution case.
Alexis Alanis faces single counts of distributing up to 450 grams of marijuana, as well as receiving under $5,000 in drug transaction proceeds and using a cell phone to distribute marijuana. He also faces two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.
The alleged incident happened Dec. 9. Emporia Police have not given other details about this case.
A first court appearance is tentatively set for Dec. 23 at the Lyon County Courthouse.
