Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss is a consensus All-American following a standout junior campaign for Emporia State. After picking up honors from the AFCA, AP, and D2CCA earlier, Boss has now received the same honor from the Don Hansen Football Committee. Boss was a unanimous First Team All-MIAA pick in his first year in Emporia and was named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. He was a three-time Defensive Player of the Week for the conference and was also the National Defensive Player of the Week once by D2Football.com, the NCAA, and the Walter Camp Foundation. It is the second consecutive year with a consensus All-American for E-State football after Tyler Kahmann achieved the status in 2024.
