Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss continues hauling in awards after a spectacular first season in Black & Gold. Boss has been named a Walter Camp All-American, his fifth of the season. Boss already achieved consensus All-American status with awards from the AFCA, AP, D2CCA, and the Don Hansen Football Committee. Boss was a unanimous First-Team linebacker for the MIAA and was selected as its Defensive Player of the Year. Boss was a three-time conference player of the week and was also the National Defensive Player of the Week by the NCAA, D2Football.com and Walter Camp Foundation. Boss is the second-ever Hornet to earn All-American status from the Walter Camp Foundation following Tyler Kahmann who earned the honor last season.
