Area residents rallied to the cause of helping SOS through the annual Christmas Ring for Kids fundraiser as organized by Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal.
Judy Moore won the prize, a 14-karat two-tone white gold and rose gold ring with a 1.5-carat morganite center stone.
Kari’s owner Kari Roulette says the ring was designed with one feeling in mind.
SOS Executive Director Mickey Edwards was heartened by the support.
KVOE General Manager Ron Thomas says “it’s always great to help SOS.”
Just under $3,300 was generated for SOS during the fundraiser.
