The Newman Regional Health Board of Trustees has its final meeting of the year Wednesday.
Board members plan to approve the 2026 budget and unspecified capital expenses after discussing the November financial report. Through October, the hospital listed its year-to-date income at just under $290,000 at a time where total year-to-date expenses exceed revenues by over $1.3 million, total income is down almost $120,000 for the year and almost $1.2 million compared to budget and total patient service revenue is about $5.7 million short of budget. Revenues versus expenses and total patient service revenue are well above 2024 year-to-date totals.
Reports from Chief Executive Officer Cathy Pimple and the Quality and Compliance Committee are on the agenda. There are also three executive sessions planned for matters listed as peer review, legal consultation and personnel.
The meeting is at noon at the hospital.
