Emporia Police is investigating after an incident in northeast Emporia on Saturday afternoon.
Sgt. Marcial Hernandez says officers were called to Terra Park Apartments, 1201 Triplett Building B, around 3:45 pm after a reported domestic incident led to an apparent episode of unlawful discharge of a firearm in the city limits. The suspect left the area before officers arrived.
The investigation is currently open, but Hernandez says the alleged incident apparently happened between Buildings B and D. There are no reports of injuries.
