A preliminary hearing is coming Tuesday in a felony child abuse case.
Thomas Hinz will appear before Judge Laura Mizer at 10 am Tuesday inside Lyon County District Court. Hinz stands accused of one count of abuse after alleged activity against an 8-year-old child on Dec. 10.
During his first appearance in December, Ty Wheeler of Kansas Legal Services was appointed as Hinz’s defense counsel in the case.
