Emporia girls wrestling took third Saturday at the Lady Vikes Invitational in Seamon. Washburn Rural secured first followed by Hays. Emporia was behind Hays by 11.5 team points.
The Lady Spartans were led by Sienna Spaulding (105), Kensley Medrano (120), and Araceli Aleman (135) who all captured gold. Chloe Steele (100) and Dixie Heins (110) each finished second. Taylor Olson (130) and Yaneli Carranza (145) added third place results.
Emporia travels to the Newton Dual Tournament on Wednesday.
