Emporia boys wrestling competed Friday and Saturday at United Wireless Arena in Dodge City and finished 15th out of 21 teams at the Dodge City Showdown.
Kolton Wyatt (113) had the best showing for the Spartans in fourth. Jose Vargas (285) closed the event with fifth place. Kalvin Crowell (215) finished seventh while Bryan Cubias (132) and Garret LeBlanc (165) claimed eighth to round out the top spots for Emporia.
EHS travels to the Basehor Tournament on Friday.
