Within the next few days, Newman Regional Health’s patient portal will look a lot different than it has.
The hospital has enacted significant updates to the MHealth portal as developed by MEDITECH Expanse. Lead Clinical Systems Analyst Lindsey Hansen says this is the result of a better-than-year-long conversation. The end result is a dashboard layout.
Hansen says the portal lets patients handle scheduling, appointment pre-registration, access to notes, reports or lab results and bill pay options among other items.
Director of Marketing & Public Relations Kacie Hastings says the portal has been a blessing in general terms for her and her family. She was also a test patient for the new portal layout.
