The Flinthills Shootout championship semifinals at White Auditorium in Emporia saw Wabaunsee and Mission Valley advance on the girls side, while Cair Paravel and Osage City moved on in boys action.
Wabaunsee topped Lyndon 43–32 as Grace Zeller and Talen Orton each scored 13 points. Mission Valley handed previously unbeaten Osage City a 45–32 loss behind 14 points from Taylor Brammell.
In boys play, Cair Paravel defeated Lyndon 60–45 with Blain Durbin pouring in 30 points, while Osage City defeated Council Grove 58–49 despite 13 points from Reid Buttrey.
