Emporia bowling competed Tuesday in Topeka at West Ridge Lanes.
The girls earned second. Taylor McKay led the Lady Spartans with a 561 series which placed her fourth at the meet. Amerlia Lowery finished fifth with a 533.
The boys placed fourth at the meet.
Emporia girls travel to Wichita for a tournament on Friday. The boys compete next on Saturday in a tournament in Wichita.
