Two new staffers are coming on board at Newman Regional Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Services.
Dr Shari Quick brings more than 25 years of experience in physical medicine and rehab to her new role. She has completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, serving as chief resident during her time at KU Med. Quick’s expertise includes complex medical rehab, musculoskeletal conditions, neurologic injuries and stroke recovery. She also has leadership experience in state advisory councils and in developing rehab programs.
Also joining is Advanced Practical Nurse-Certified Peggy Fell, who brings 16-plus years of experience in post-acute and inpatient medicine. Fell earner a Master of Science in Nursing from Washburn, with experience in caring for nursing home residents, patients with complex medical needs and hospitalized patients. In addition to her new role, Fell will also continue with the Hand in Hand Hospice team and will work alongside Newman Regional Health’s hospitalist team.
