The application window is now open for Evergy’s Hometown Grants program.
The program offers grants for organizations that focus on providing assistance to address basic needs, including food insecurity, housing, bill payment, hygiene and more. To qualify, organizations must be either a 501 (c)(3) or 501 (c)(6) non-profit and serve residents within Evergy’s service network.
Applications are due by March 4th and can be completed by visiting evergy.com/landing/hometown-grant. Once the application window closes, Evergy will select 10 finalists and post those for public voting from March 16th through the 25th on Evergy’s Facebook page, with the top three vote getters each receiving a one-time $10,000 grant.
Evergy Director of Corporate Social Media Elizabeth Danforth says the program is “another way we can help communities build stability, strengthen families, and create a foundation for long‑term well‑being.”
