A pretrial hearing is coming in mid-April for an Emporia man accused of child sex abuse.
Patrick Rosenberg, age 42, waived his preliminary hearing this week and was set for a pretrial hearing April 16. Potential trial dates could be set during the April hearing.
Rosenberg was charged last month after at least one alleged incident with two children no older than 17 years old and another no older than 14 back in November. Initially, he was charged with 12 counts including aggravated human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, contributing to a child’s misconduct, furnishing alcohol to a minor, aggravated sexual battery and indecent solicitation. This week, Judge Doug Jones said there was enough evidence to bind Rosenberg over on single counts of aggravated human trafficking, aggravated sexual battery, indecent solicitation and furnishing alcohol, as well as three counts of commercial sexual exploitation,
