The Emporia Masonic Lodge has a special event Friday to honor the community’s first responders.
The lodge has a special First Responder Appreciation Day at its building, 424 Merchant. Emergency responders and law enforcement officers are invited to partake in donuts and coffee as the lodge recognizes “the service and dedication of our local first responders to keeping our community safe.”
The recognition event goes from 8-11 am. This is the first time Lodge 12 has hosted such an event.
