Two Lyndon residents were hurt after a crash in the Kansas City metro area early Thursday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the two-vehicle wreck happened shortly before 12:45 am on Interstate 70 near the junction of 78th Street. Troopers say a car driven by 56-year-old Marc Crowe of Basehor was westbound and sideswiped a westbound car driven by 32-year-old Rita Grieschalczer of Lyndon. Both cars crashed into the center barrier wall afterward.
Grieschalczer and a passenger, 28-year-old Matthew Reed of Lyndon, were both taken to Providence Medical Center for suspected minor injuries. Crowe was not hurt.
