Emporia girls and boys bowling both finished first at Flint Hills Lanes in Emporia on Monday.
The Lady Spartans took gold with a score of 2749. Taylor McKay was the top individual with a series of 576.
The Spartans also claimed the top spot after a team score of 3396. Nate Green had his best performance of the season, 735. He just happened to change something on Monday he had been doing for nearly 18 months.
Head coach Amy Martin was very happy with the performance.
Emporia travels to the Centennial League meet in Manhattan on Wednesday.
