Emporia boys claim first and the girls added second Monday on Senior Day at Flint Hills Lanes in Emporia.
Taylor McKay took gold on the girl’s side as the Lady Spartans finished second. She was happy with how the lanes cooperated.
Head coach Amy Martin was really proud of McKay for setting a new personal best.
Nate Green finished second on the boy’s side as the Spartans took home the gold. Green has been on a tear the last three meets finishing in the top in them all.
Coach Martin is expecting big things with postseason next on the schedule.
EHS travels to Gage Center Bowl in Topeka Tuesday to compete in Regionals.
