Lyon County Commissioners will have several requests ahead of them from the Lyon County Highway Department when they convene for their regular action meeting Thursday morning.
Lyon County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield will submit four requests, one seeking approval of invoices from WKI Kenworth for a total of just over $6,800 for torsion bars on the department’s Kenworth trucks. Scritchfield will also submit a quote from Lacal Equipment Inc. for just over $8,600 for mower blades and hardware.
Two requests for advertising bids, one for scrub seal emulsified asphalt and the other for corrugated metal arch culverts, will also see consideration. Separately, County Human Resources Director Alicia Rumold will submit invoices from Time Clock Plus for service from February 16th, 2026, to February 15th, 2027, for more than $13,350.
One executive session for employee evaluation is also scheduled. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
