The Emporia State track and field team is sending five to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Virginia next week. Freshman sprinter Stella Agbokpah had the best qualification with the third-best time in the 200m dash. Sophomore Isabella Davie also qualified for the Lady Hornets with the 16th best score in the pentathlon. Luke Grace led the Hornet men with the 14th best score in the heptathlon while Connor Deters qualified 17th in the shot put. Ezekiel Seamster was in a three-way tie for the final two spots in the 60m dash. The Virginia Beach Sports Center will host the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Va. beginning March 13.
