Drug and weapons charges are pending after an arrest by Emporia Police officers Tuesday night.
Officers arrested Daniel Tabares Herrera on suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, as well as felony possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while under the influence and felon in possession of a firearm.
Further details are pending through Emporia Police and Kansas Case Search. Police Capt. Ray Mattas says there is in an ongoing investigation underway and officers do not comment on cases with active investigations.
