Marais Des Cygnes Valley punched its ticket to the state tournament with a decisive 67-44 victory over Elyria Christian in the Class 1A Division II Substate Championship.
The Trojans set the tone early, building an 18-8 lead by the end of the first quarter and stretching the advantage to 29-13 by halftime. Marais Des Cygnes Valley continued to pull away in the second half, leading 57-32 at the end of the third quarter before closing out the 23-point win.
Gracen Stahl led all scorers with 18 points. She was one of four Trojans to reach double figures, as Emily Criqui added 16 points, Colbie Carmode scored 15, and Akrya Traver finished with 10.
With the win, the Trojans improve to 22-4 and advance to the state tournament for the first time since 2024.
Marais Des Cygnes Valley will face Hanover (23-3) in the opening round on Wednesday.
