The Emporia State track & field teams wrapped up the indoor portion of their season at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Va. on Saturday. Two Hornets and two Lady Hornets finished with Second Team All-American honors. Isabella Davie had the second best score in program history to finish ninth in the women’s pentathlon with a score of 3,706 points with personal bests in three events. Connor Deters finished 10th in the men’s shot put with a throw of 57 feet-3 inches. Luke Grace finished 12th in the men’s heptathlon. Stella Agbokpah finished ninth in the women’s 200m dash. Ezekiel Seamster ran at nationals but didn’t earn All-American status. Pittsburg State dominated with the Gorillas claiming their fourth straight championship. The PSU women won their second-straight title.
