Spring is busy for the Flint Hills Optimists.
The Optimists have their annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at Jones Park. As normal, there will be search areas for children ages 2 and below, ages 3-4, ages 5-7, ages 8-9 and children with special needs.
The hunt will be at 10 am. Parking at Jones Park is always extremely limited, so parents are encouraged to arrive early.
Also, the Optimists have their annual All-Star Basketball Classic on March 28 at White Auditorium. The doubleheader
features many of the best high school seniors from Lyon and surrounding counties.
