The doors have reopened at Emporia’s longtime downtown grocery.
Long known as Country Mart or Reeble’s Country Mart, Good’s CashSaver reopened to the public Thursday — complete with new signage outside, as well as new checkout equipment, retagged merchandise and an internal remodel of the entire store.
Good’s has had a well-established presence at 2703 West US Highway 50 in west Emporia for years. Customers at the downtown location will have the same cost-plus-10 percent pricing model as the West Highway 50 location. The downtown store will also maintain the Reeble name — and food options — for its popular deli and bakery.
Next up for the downtown CashSaver location is a ribbon-cutting and grand re-opening at 9 am Wednesday.
