Lyon County commissioners could handle a pair of zoning requests as part of their action session Thursday.
Commissioners will consider Tillman Infrastructure’s request for Agriculture Conditional Use zoning for a communications tower in the 1700 block of US Highway 56. Commissioners will also look at a minor plat for the Quail Creek Estates development in the 1700 block of Road E-5.
After those agenda items, County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield has several points of note, including concerns with a bridge in the 700 block of Road U, a sign post purchase request totaling almost $13,000 from J&A Traffic Products, a resolution establishing weight limits on certain bridges and the purchase of carbide bits from Foley Equipment for nearly $10,000.
Also, IT representative Jamie Williams will present a license renewal request from CDW-G for over $11,000. Unbound Gravel Marketing Manager will discuss traffic control and a pilot car program on Burlingame Road as part of the annual slate of bike races later this year.
The meeting is at 9 am Thursday at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
