Emporia tennis hit the home courts Tuesday for the Emporia Invite.
Brecken Hines led the singles for the Spartans with a ninth place finish. He dropped his first match and fought through the backside winning the rest of his matches, Hines won 8-7 and 8-4 to close out his evening.
Collin Moody and Nicholas Weller were the top doubles team for EHS. The duo dropped their opening match and played their way to play for ninth in the tourney. They went 3-1 overall.
Right back at it for EHS, who travels to the Newton Invite on Thursday.
