One person was hurt and hospitalized after a wreck in southern Osage County on Wednesday.
The two-vehicle wreck happened at 1:30 pm on Interstate 35 near mile marker 159, just west of the Kansas Highway 31 or Melvern exit. The Kansas Highway Patrol says two vehicles were northbound, with a van driven by 25-year-old Sarah Stumph of Garnett in the inside lane and a car driven by 44-year-old Steven Borcsani of Lansing in the outside lane. Borcsani was in the process of passing the Stumph van when he reported a wind gust pushed his car. The car sideswiped the van, sending both vehicles into the center median.
Stumph was taken by ambulance to Advent Health with suspected minor injuries. Borcsani was not hurt.
