Council Grove fared well in the latest 10Best contest seeking the Best Small Town in the Midwest.
Council Grove finished seventh overall, with contest organizers featuring the 25 historic sites in and around the town, the presence of Council Grove Lake and a range of other attractions like the “Madonna of the Trail” statue.
Vevay, Indiana, was the contest winner.
