If you like weather, Emporia State University’s Peterson Planetarium has a show for you.
The Peterson debuts “Weather: Wonders & Mysteries Revealed” with a full-dome presentation Thursday afternoon. The 30-minute show looks at Earth’s meteorology, including thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes and blizzards. It also looks at space weather and auroras. An exploration of Emporia’s night sky is included.
The show is at 4 pm Thursday and April 12, as well as 6 pm April 29. Residents are encouraged to register online at emporia.edu/planetarium because of limited seating.
