More criminal charges have been filed against a Hartford man accused of rape and sexual assault in Douglas County.
Initially accused of seven total counts of rape, aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery against five people, 44-year-old Aaron Borger now faces 11 total counts against eight alleged victims — two of rape, five of aggravated sexual battery and four of sexual battery.
Borger was accused after an alleged incident of inappropriate conduct during a massage therapy session in Baldwin City two weeks ago. Prosecutors say alleged activity in this case March 2024 to this month.
The next hearing is a status conference April 29. Baldwin City Police officers have been asking people to step forward if they have had any inappropriate contact with Borger, either in Baldwin City or elsewhere, by calling Baldwin City Detective Vanessa Garza at 785-594-3850 or email vschmalz@baldwincity.gov
