Emporia High softball dropped both games at Grant Sports Complex in McPherson on Tuesday.
EHS fell in game one to McPherson 15-0.
The Lady Pups scored three in the first and seven in the second in the lopsided win.
The Lady Spartans managed just one hit from Alivia Barrett and the defense struggled with five errors.
Barrett suffered the loss with nine earned runs with four strikeouts.
In game two, Emporia fell 5-4 to Rose Hill.
The Rockets opened the scoring with one in the second. EHS answered in the third after a leadoff double from MacKayleigh Arrington and a sacrifice bunt from Atlyn Heffron. Rose Hill took a one run lead right back in the fourth. Emporia plated two in the bottom of the frame off of two hits and an error including a Molly Williams double. Rose Hill gained the lead back after a three run sixth. Heffron reached in the bottom of the seventh and scored on an error. The Black and Red stranded runners on first and second to end the game.
Delaney Davis and Arrington each had two hits.
Davis took the loss in seven innings with six punch outs and four earned runs.
EHS moves to 7-7 and travels to Manhattan on Friday.
