Saturday is a busy day — and not just in Emporia.
Admire will have the grand opening of Ogle-Bee Country Store and Flint Hills Event Center, featuring lunch options. There will also be a fundraising benefit dinner and raffle for kidney cancer patient Kaitlyn Petersen at 4 pm before a dance at 7 pm..
Ogle-Bee features all-natural homemade products like soaps, skin care items, honey and teas. The Admire Event Center, which served the community as a school for decades, is now rental space for a range of events like reunions, birthday parties, bridal showers, weddings and other community receptions.
Activities will start at 11 am Saturday at 100 East 3rd in Admire.
