The Emporia Granada Theatre will be full of laughs as CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness has its now-annual Stand Up to Stigma fundraiser Friday night.
Aaron Wayne will perform comedy hypnosis to the stage, and Development Manager Jacque Wellnitz says it will be a great show, both for the audience as a whole and the 20 “volunteers” on stage for the event.
Wellnitz says Stand Up to Stigma has become a popular community event and a big fundraiser for CrossWinds services.
Doors open at 5:30 pm for VIP guests, with the show starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $75 for VIP admission, including a dinner through Flint Hills Catering, open bar, auction and the show. Show-only tickets are $20 for general admission. Residents can go online to crosswindsks.org for more information or get tickets.
