An investigation is underway after an arrest this past weekend on suspected drug and weapons violations.
Lyon County deputies arrested Fredy Zelaya early Saturday on suspicion of possessing a stolen firearm, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a firearm while under the influence, as well as possessing marijuana and paraphernalia. Zelaya was also arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Case details are currently pending, as is a decision on formal charges.
