Emporia High tennis competed Monday at the Centennial League meet held at Kossover Tennis Courts in Topeka.
In singles play, Brecken Hines finished 10th with a 2-2 record on the day, picking up a pair of wins in bracket play. Ricardo Macias placed 12th, going 0-4 while facing a tough slate of opponents.
On the doubles side, the team of Collin Moody and Nicholas Weller posted a 1-3 record to finish 11th. Baylor Santangelo and Aydan Sanchez also battled throughout the day, finishing 12th with an 0-4 mark.
EHS will now turn its focus to the postseason, traveling to Salina on Friday for regional competition.
