The Emporia High girls soccer team scored early in the second frame and held on for a 1-0 win at Augusta on Friday. The teams battled to a scoreless draw in the first half. The Lady Spartans struck quickly in the second half just five minutes into the frame. Viveca Fuller found the back of the net on a header with Sydney B’Hymer delivering the assist. EHS plays their final home match on Tuesday hosting Hayden in Centennial League action. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
