Emporia’s Yaneli Carranza signed to wrestle at Barton Community College on Wednesday.
Carranza finished sixth her senior year at the state meet and as a junior secured fifth. She competed at 145 pounds for the Lady Spartans.
Carranza joins the Cougars who will be debuting women’s wrestling in the fall.
