Emporia High seniors celebrated Sunday, and with good reason as they went through commencement activities at White Auditorium.
Class speaker Payton Chandley says there were a lot of life lessons during high school.
Chandley thanked her parents for their help throughout her studies.
Superintendent David McGehee thanked teachers, parents, family members and friends for their hands in the graduates’ successes to this point. And he commended the graduates for their work.
Principal Dathan Fischer says it was an honor to be at the high school for this class of students.
Two hundred and seventy-five students were eligible for diplomas Sunday.
